Minaret Shore
In a world that often rushes past sorrow, Minaret Shore created Nivari to meet a quiet but powerful need: real comfort during life’s hardest moments. Shaped by her own lived experience, Minaret understands what it means to feel deeply in a world that asks us to carry on. Nivari was born from that understanding—a way to support those navigating grief, overwhelm, and emotional exhaustion. Through Nivari, Minaret offers more than products. She offers presence, care, and a sense of being held—when it matters most.
Her Story.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been someone who sees potential for warmth and beauty, even in the starkest places.
My career in visual merchandising taught me how to transform spaces and create meaning through design. But nothing prepared me for how personal that skill would become.
My brother has been in and out of mental health facilities for 30 years, battling depression. Those places—cold, sterile, and unwelcoming—made his struggles feel even heavier. I visited him every day, determined to bring some sense of comfort into his world. It started small—a soft blanket to replace the stiff, scratchy hospital bedding. Then I brought him a better pillow and a mattress topper to soften the unyielding plastic mattress. A sound machine to drown out the harsh noises of the ward. An eye mask and essential oils to help him relax. Even candy to bring a little sweetness to his day.
With each gift, I saw how these little touches transformed his experience. It didn’t fix everything, but it made a difference.
When my best friend, Trish, was dying in hospice at 87, I created a comfort pack for her. She told me, “This won’t stop me from dying, but it sure makes it feel nicer.” Her words stayed with me, reminding me that even when you can’t change the outcome, you can change how someone feels in the moment.
Now, I help other women find gifts that bring comfort to their loved ones in the hardest of times. I know what it’s like to feel powerless, wanting so desperately to show someone how much you care.
My mission is to take that helplessness and transform it into something tangible—something that says, “I see you, I love you, and I’m here for you.”
